The Rising of UBT Bill
Utilities Board of Tuskegee members are hinting that in order to keep their heads above water, they will have to raise the rates of their services... As if they weren't high enough already! Due to the decreasing population in Macon county and the VictoryLand casino no longer active, UBT is trying to find ways to compensate for the expected drop in income next year. If they do not take action in a timely manner, budget cuts of $1.4 million dollars will force them to cut their workforce nearly in half. The situation does not look good on either side, and the most frustrating issue is that the targeted residences will be the victims suffering.

Protests have taken a serious incline worldwide in this past year, and Wall Street is no exception. This past week marks the largest numbers yet, after the people of New York pledged to a third week of demonstrations against income inequality, corporate greed, corruption and a list of other social ills.
